Description

You can simplify this recipe down to 2 ingredients = yogurt & blackberries. The added protein gives your muscles a boost and the xantham gum serves only to thicken the sauce and is a personal preference. Enjoy warm before bed.

Ingredients

Instructions

  1. Combine blackberries, cinnamon, and citrus juice in a saucepan. Add 1 tablespoon of water and bring to a simmer over medium heat. Simmer until blackberries begin to break apart, about 10 minutes. Stir occasionally from time to time.

  2. Mix yogurt with protein powder.

  3. Stir xantham gum into compote and stir until mixture thickens. Remove from heat and allow to cool, or serve warm, spooned over yogurt.
