Treat Day: Tzatziki Dip with Carrots & Pretzels
Description
Chip & dip is unhealthy. And veggies with plain yogurt is boring. The Greeks got it right when they created Tzatziki. Elevate your treat day snacks while staying on track with this delicious dip recipe. Pair it with all manner of veggies and a few pretzels for a big hurrah on your treat day.

Using the large holes of a box grater, grate cucumbers. Using your hands, squeeze grated cucumbers to remove excess water, then place cucumbers in a medium bowl (you should have about 1 cup).

Add yogurt, dill, lemon juice and garlic; season with salt and pepper to taste. Mix well.

Serve ¼ of the dip with 1 cup baby carrots and 20 mini pretzels each.

Note
The pretzels and whole-milk Greek yogurt is the only thing making this snack a treat-day snack. Whole-milk Greek yogurt is not bad in any sense, it’s just a bit more fatty and caloric, so enjoy every silky bite.
To make it a daily snack, leave out the pretzels and go with a low-fat Greek yogurt.
